Completed
in February 1889, CPR's Windsor Street Terminus, as it was know
then, included a freight depot, passenger terminus, an elaborate
vaulted waiting room, a ladies' waiting room, a tub and shower room
and a barber shop. Within a few years, the Company had outgrown
the original building and soon commissioned the first of several
extensions.
